The end of my holiday

Finally, it came to the end of my Chinese New Year holiday.
I had to say goodbye to Sibu. Huhu ~ ~ ~

Kuching International Airport. My flight to KL from Kuching was delayed for 2 hours, I was stuck in the airport.

Some of the food that I brought from home.

My birthday present, from daddy. It is with me now in KL here.

This one was taken when I failed to sleep. Teddy bears do read  :-P

See you soon, my home.

My gang of friends

We did lots of funny things together. I miss the good old days a lot… (Photos deleted for privacy purpose)

These are my English learning tools. I love English. One of my favourite English teacher, Mr. Ong taught us to prepare a scrap book to write down new vocabulary and nice phrases. Today, I still practise it.

One of the “crazy” things I did, with the help of my best friend. Haha, I coloured my English literature text book. My best friend coloured hers too. We also did the same thing to the Malay literature text book. There was once a teacher borrowed my Malay literature text book. When she returned the book to me, I heard she uttered---“ 你的书很可爱”. Haha :-)

I do not know when we will meet, miss you all a lot…

Visiting my relatives in Sarikei

I visited my grandma before I departed to Kuala Lumpur. I miss home cooking a lot. My aunty was so nice, she prepared lunch for me. Simple but delicious, I like fried noodles the most. The fried noodle that she prepared did not contain soya bean sauce, because I do not like kicap.

My cousins, Lily and Julian. I was involved in choosing their names when they were born.

Lily was practising piano in another cousin’s house.
Gambateh!!! You will be a great pianist in future.

Julian found this kitten in a shop. Hehe, the staff must be feeling weird, seeing me playing with the kitten like a child.

The day was filled laughter. Spend some time with children really made me happy, our conversation was nonsense but funny.

Birthday dinner (19.2.2010)

This was taken during my grandma’s cousin’s birthday, 90th birthday.
I went to the dinner with my grandma.
The lady sat beside me told me that she envied those whose grandparents are still alive.
She never saw her grandparents.
Beyond her mind, she must be thinking that if she can spend time with her grandparents, she will treat them extra good.
I am blessed that my grandparents brought me up.

Before my grandpa passed away, I seldom called him via telephone.
I was thinking, “wait a while”, “later”, “still have time”.
Then, the day ended, night time came, and I went to bed.
Only then, I knocked on my head, I had not called grandpa.
Perhaps, tomorrow.
Unfortunately, tomorrow never came.

Grandpa left this world not long after he was diagnosed with cancer.
Today, I really regret that I did not call him often.
How I wish I still can talk to him and manja to him.

The stupid mistake must not be repeated.
I make sure I call my family always.
I just want to hear their voice, and that satisfies me.
My family members always anticipate my call, that cheers me up too.

Looking at my grandma’s cousin, I do hope she lives happily.
Not to forget, I wish her happy birthday and stay healthy.

Happy New Year

Here are two version of " Happy New Year" by ABBA.
I like the first version because there is a white piano in the video :-)
The second version provides a photo slideshow of ABBA over the year, a nice view too.
Enjoy the videos.

~Lyrics~

No more champagne
And the fireworks are through
Here we are, me and you
Feeling lost and feeling blue
It's the end of the party
And the morning seems so grey
So unlike yesterday
Now's the time for us to say...

Happy new year
Happy new year
May we all have a vision now and then
Of a world where every neighbour is a friend

Happy new year
Happy new year
May we all have our hopes, our will to try
If we don't we might as well lay down and die
You and I

Sometimes I see
How the brave new world arrives
And I see how it thrives
In the ashes of our lives
Oh yes, man is a fool
And he thinks he'll be okay
Dragging on, feet of clay
Never knowing he's astray
Keeps on going anyway...

Happy new year
Happy new year
May we all have a vision now and then
Of a world where every neighbour is a friend

Happy new year
Happy new year
May we all have our hopes, our will to try
If we don't we might as well lay down and die
You and I

Seems to me now
That the dreams we had before
Are all dead, nothing more
Than confetti on the floor
It's the end of a decade
In another ten years time
Who can say what we'll find
What lies waiting down the line
In the end of eighty-nine...

Happy new year
Happy new year
May we all have a vision now and then
Of a world where every neighbour is a friend

Happy new year
Happy new year
May we all have our hopes, our will to try
If we don't we might as well lay down and die
You and I

Wish you all Happy Chinese New Year.
New year, new hope, new life
Cheers

Blister on my hand

It happened just now, I hurt my hand during lunch in a restaurant. The bowl was broken, I did not see it. When I poured the boiling hot soup into the broken bowl, the soup “burnt” my left middle finger. Pain scoring, I would rate it as 9 out 10. After visiting doctor, I felt better…

Sigh... It costed me RM57 to visit the doctor. Sigh again... Doctor Lee was a nice doctor. He helped me to clear the fluid in the blister, cleaned my wound, applied some cream and bandaged my finger. Doctor Lee comforted me that it will be alright as long as no infection. Moreover, my case is not serious. Thank God…

Before visiting doctor. The blister was fresh, still within one hour from the time of incident.

After visiting doctor.
Bear : Wow, my darling Jia Ying has to take medicine…

p/s: 我觉得我很厉害咯,常常大头虾,不是跌倒就是走路撞人,今天还把自己烫伤。希望下次更小心点。
